Scott Lachmund delivered the biggest surprise of all at his 40th
Scott Lachmund recently turned 40, and 4510TV – Caboolture was there to follow the celebration. The evening at George’s Paragon Seafood Restaurant started out like any other 40th birthday; laughs, regular social interaction and speeches.
After a sensational three-course meal, it was out onto the balcony again for the birthday cake. A short delay on the arrival of the cake meant enough time for half a joke.
And while the surprises are usually lined up for the birthday person, Scott had a surprise of his own to shock everyone.
Scott Lachmund initially started out his thank yous like anyone does at a birthday celebration that a large number of people have come to. But then suddenly got down on one knee and proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Jacqueline Taka.

Peter, Robyn, Karen and Scott Lachmund are all still active in the day-to-day running of the business, along with many other community activities. These community activities include playing competition netball with a local team and the 4510TV – Caboolture project.
